1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Cashly AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cashly AI. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the app. By using the app, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Description of Service

Cashly AI is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Track income, expenses, and loans manually
• Set and monitor savings goals
• Create and manage monthly budgets
• View financial analytics and health scores
• Receive AI-powered financial insights and advice
• Export financial reports (Pro feature)
• Chat with AI assistant for financial guidance

4. No Financial Transactions or Bank Access

Cashly AI does NOT:

• Connect to bank accounts, credit cards, or financial institutions
• Perform real-world financial transactions
• Store or process payment card information
• Access your banking credentials or account numbers
• Transfer money or process payments

All financial data in the app is manually entered by you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you input. We are not responsible for any discrepancies between your manual entries and your actual financial situation.

5. Account Registration & Security

To use Cashly AI, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A username
• A secure password

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Ensuring your email address remains valid and accessible

6. Pro Subscription & Payments

Cashly AI offers a free tier and optional Pro subscription with enhanced features:

• Free Tier: Basic features with usage limits (limited AI messages, limited image analysis, ads displayed)
• Pro Subscription: Unlimited AI messages, unlimited image analysis, ad-free experience, PDF/CSV export

Subscription Terms:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Google Play Billing
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You can cancel your subscription anytime through Google Play Store settings
• Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
• Pro features are available only while your subscription is active

7. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, servers, or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality, servers, or networks
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the app
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the app to store or transmit illegal content

8. Data Usage & Privacy

Your use of Cashly AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We prioritize your privacy and never sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

9. AI Features & Limitations

Cashly AI includes AI-powered features for financial analysis and advice:

• AI Chat Assistant – Provides general financial guidance based on your data
• Image Analysis – Extracts text from financial documents you upload
• Financial Insights – Generates analytics and recommendations

10. App Modifications & Updates

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of Cashly AI at any time, including features, functionality, and availability. We may release updates to fix bugs, improve performance, add features, or address security issues. Your continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the changes. We are not obligated to provide updates or maintain backward compatibility.

11. Account Termination

By You: You may delete your account and stop using the app at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days and cannot be recovered.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the app. We may also terminate inactive accounts after a prolonged period of inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately, and we may delete your account and data.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

Cashly AI, including its design, features, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the app without our written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

13. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of financial calculations or AI-generated advice
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, financial losses resulting from use of the app or AI-generated advice, errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in financial data or calculations, or service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cashly AI, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your local jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under local consumer protection laws.

16. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app and delete your account.
